Vernix : The origin of skin care
Taishi (胎脂) is the Japanese word for vernix caseosa, the naturally disappearing substance that protects the underdeveloped stratum corneum of a baby from environmental changes.
Newborns’ immature skin has a weaker barrier function compared to that of adults.

Application method: Upward gliding and lifting strokes

STEP 1
Use the supplied spatula to take 1 scoop (approx. 0.4 g) as shown in the illustration onto your hand and carefully work into your entire face.
Recommended amount for each use is 2 scoops of the spatula (approx. 0.8 g).
STEP 2
Starting from the chin, lift upwards toward the temples and hold for a few seconds, applying pressure with the whole palms.
Next, wrap the forehead with both hands and move to the hairline, then hold for a few seconds.
STEP 3
Take another 1 scoop (approx. 0.4 g), apply to your entire face, creating a cream mask.
Lifting your chin, use your palms to wrap around the neck, and slide your hands downwards to blend the cream.

How to use
Use as the final step of your nighttime skincare routine. The recommended amount per use is 2 scoops of the spatula (approx. 0.8 g).
- Use the spatula to take 1 scoop (approx. 0.4 g) onto your hand and carefully work into your entire face.
- Take another 1 scoop (approx. 0.4 g), apply to your entire face, creating a cream mask.
The spatula is magnetic. Please store it on the lid.
Caution:
- Keep away from pacemakers and other medical devices.
- Placing clocks, watches and other precision devices near the spatula may cause them to malfunction due to its magnetic field.
How to refill
1. When the contents are finished, place your thumb in the groove on the outer jar and lift out the inner jar.
2. Insert the refill with film seal into the outer jar, then press firmly around the rim to secure it.
